How To Make Dorayaki

Who doesn’t know this food, this food is the favorite food of Doraemon cartoon named Dorayaki. Dorayaki is a cake originating from Japan. Dorayaki belongs to the traditional Japanese cake class. This cake is round and slightly chubby, made from two pancakes glued together with red peanut butter. Dorayaki has a soft texture and resembles castella because the dough is topped with honey. Because I’m getting hungry, then let’s just see how to make it hihi.

Ingredients :

Eggs – 2 eggs
Sugar – 100 grams
Honey – 1 tbsp
Medium protein flour – 125 grams
Full cream powdered milk – 25 grams
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Liquid milk – 50 ml

Toppings :

Chocolate jam or your favorite carving topping

How to make :

Beat eggs, sugar, honey with a whisk or whisk, until quite fluffy and thick.

Add flour, powdered milk and baking soda. Stir until evenly distributed.

Add liquid milk then stir again. Let stand for about 15 minutes, or you can put it in the refrigerator.

After 15 minutes, stir again briefly. Pour into a preheated non-stick skillet (Use low heat so that the dough is really cooked and does not burn quickly). When it is porous and the piggiran begins to dry, turn it over. Take a moment, lift it. Do the same thing until the dough runs out.

Fill the inside of the dorayaki with chocolate jam filling or your favorite topping, stack it with dorayaki again. Press the edges to make it cupped.

Dorayaki is ready to be served.
