By using a variety of techniques for drying flowers, you can preserve the color and shape of the flowers so they don’t wilt or change color, while saving the blooms you get to enjoy all year round. Here’s how to dry flowers and some tips on drying flowers.

  1. Dry flowers with a book The key is the freshness of the flower.
Choose a flower that is still in the form of a bud or that is just blooming perfectly. If you pick them from your yard do so in the morning right after the dew has evaporated. Once you have the flowers you want to press, start drying them immediately. If you don’t want to press it right away, it’s best to place the flowers in an icebox. So how to dry the flowers is: Gather the flowers you want to press along with some newspapers, paper, tissue, a thick or heavy book and a large brick / stone. First make a piece of cardboard that is almost the same size as your book, place a sheet of newspaper on top of the tissue (the same size as your piece of cardboard earlier), followed by a sheet of tissue paper (also the same size). Place the flowers on the tissue paper, making sure they don’t touch each other. Once your pile is finished, press it with a heavy book until it bricks. This method usually takes a while, around 2-4 weeks.
  2. Dry the flowers in the sun This method is the simplest way.
First, flower a flower arrangement and remove any unwanted leaves, then divide the flower into small bunches and tie them with string, twine or rubber bands. Hang the flowers in a warm, dry and dark place. It must be in a dry place so that the flowers do not rot and can retain their color. If placed in a bright room, light can make the color of the flower fade. This method usually takes several weeks. The length of time will vary depending on the type of flower, drying, humidity and room temperature. Check your flowers every 2-3 days. Those are some ways to dry flowers so you can enjoy the beauty of flowers at any time. Hopefully this helps, don’t forget to share like comments on these tips, OK! Thank youuu
