HOW DO I FACE CHILDREN INTROVETED?

Introverted children always seem quiet and aloof. They don’t gather much with their friends. Parents who have children with introverted personalities shouldn’t always suppress them. Every child has their own personality which they carry from birth. Same goes for children who have introverted personalities.

Introverts are certainly not a disease that must be cured. Most children with this trait are not because they are depressed or have anxiety disorders. Their attitude is indeed there because of their nature. The more you understand and treat them well, the happier they will be.

  1. There is nothing wrong with introvet. Nature Based on studies, in the United States there are at least 20-50% of introverts from the overall population. Most are successful people like Bill Gates, Emma Watson, Warren Buffet, to J.K Rowling. So do not ever question the nature of the child let alone protest because he was too shy.
  2. Don’t force the will. If he has doubts about trying new things or adapting to new people, let him do it slowly. Don’t be too soft, but respect the limits of their abilities. If he has dared to take a good step, praise the business. When he is seen enjoying what he was initially afraid of, let him know. That way your child will realize that trying to be more open is not a bad thing at all.
  3. Pay attention to what is the passion of the child. Facing introverted children means that you must know that they usually tend to be able to develop their passion well. Especially if he spends time doing the same thing every day. If your child likes to spend time painting or writing, guide him and let his talents develop
  4. Give freedom of choice. Usually introverts don’t talk much and don’t demand a lot. They tend to accept what their parents give or choose. However, if this habit continues to be allowed to, then the child will slowly lose encouragement and initiative. To reduce the possibility of this happening, try giving them the opportunity to choose. For example, ask children to determine what food they want to eat today. Choices like this will train introverted children to determine for themselves what they want and make them no longer a person who is always resigned to the situation.
